About
Jeremy Gugenheim has played in several bands, some good, some awful, some so bad he wishes he could forget that it had ever happened. The Verdict, pictured below, was somewhere in the top “1″ of Good Bands to have played in. Thanks guys – you were the best.
I’m a bit hazy about the order, the names, even the veracity of the memory at all, but here’s a list of bands I think I’ve played in or with:
The Sheepskin Nose Band – A charity band, terrific fun and we raised a couple of grand.
Outhouse – Didn’t gig much, great fun.
The Fat Band – guested on guitar once – a terrifying experience, but one I’m strangely proud of.
Jonah – Didn’t gig much, terrifying, pretty good.
The Alibi Club – Gigging more, great fun, good blues band.
Mad As A Fish – Awful – just awful. I called it The Bleedin’ Racket Band. Dreadful.
Rested for a year…
The Verdict – Brilliant music, great fun, a creative phase, writing lyrics, amazing. Recorded the studio CD “Guilty“. A live recording is endlessly in the works, and may see the light of day.
Currently resting…
I have come to realise that although there are many types of music I love (and a few that I don’t, but not many) I love Blues so deeply that I want to spread the word!!
