Small Systems Engineering is a small Suffolk-based company designing and implementing custom software and hardware on IBM PCs (or compatibles) for Windows® and DOS. We also design and program embedded systems for a range of microprocessor and microcontroller families.
Since Small Systems Engineering Ltd was established ten years ago, we have written software for major financial institutions (such as the International Stock Exchange, London), developed and implemented test and intregration programs for a large British telecommunications company and and undertaken large and small projects for local businesses of all sizes. Experience ranges from MIDI programming to financial services to building security systems. Hardware designed includes MIDI radio telemetry for theatre systems and graphical ink dosing/mixing systems for the printing industry.
We are willing to discuss any size of project and are just as happy to undertake small commissions as to work on the larger, more complex applications. The initial consultation is free. A full specification detailing the customer requirements and Small Systems' proposal is drawn up before implementation commences. We insist on frequent consultation with the client throughout the project to ensure the close monitoring of progress and of any modifications to the initial requirement. Full documentation is kept by Small Systems during a project, not just dashed off at the end! Source code is considered to be the property of the client and is always handed over unless otherwise previously arranged. Small Systems Engineering adopts an open, friendly approach to ensure full co-operation with the client and offers a professional, responsible service. |
